This is my second time buying. Elastic holds up, perfect stretch and when removing they sliiiiide out of your hair no matter how tight it was, but still hold hair in place!

My dark blonde, thin, fine hair snaps if I look at it the wrong way, and has been a source of frustration for me for many years. Despite not coloring my hair or using heat tools at all, my hair remains fragile and very difficult to grow long. At my suggestion, I bought some silk pillowcases which have definitely helped reduce nighttime hair loss, but now that the pandemic led to me only washing my hair every other day, I needed a way to keep my hair in a loose bun overnight. I tried a bunch of claw clips, but they consistently left me with odd bends and bumps in my hair the next day. Although the price for three scrunches seemed high, I decided to take a chance and ordered the three-pack of the khaki scrunchies that are all the standard size. When they arrived, I noticed they felt a bit differently than my silk pillowcases, so I asked my mom for her opinion. As an avid quilter and fabric crafter, I knew she would figure out whether they were just satin or were actually silk. She opened up a seam and confirmed that the material is indeed silk. I washed them in a lingerie bag in the wash with my other gentle wash items, and then let them air dry. I have worn them many times in the past month, and they do a pretty good job of keeping my little bun secured all night, and anyone with fine hair can likely tell you, our hair is slippery. Even Scunchies No-slip clips slide out of my hair. I do sometimes use a small claw clip near the crown, but under the bun, and I have also used it for a ponytail twice, with it holding comfortably each time.
